Cala Ossidiana is named after a black volcanic beach on the Italian island of Lipari. Obsidian flowed from the volcanoes and the natural black glass covered the sea floor, inflecting the waters with an intense blue hue. The Cala Ossidiana collection shares this exceptional natural beauty. Designed and created in New York, the line captures the perfect combination of natural beauty with the culture and fashion of the great cities of the world.

Anne Pachan loves searching for turn over every stone, walk down every unbeaten path, to find the beautiful, the strange, and the curious in this world. Whether trekking uphill to an ancient Balinese village known for their double ikat weaving, checking out a new artist at a gallery opening, studying a book from the Met Museum, or watching a vintage film, she is continually finding and incorporating new sources of inspiration for her designs and life.
